Fire Pump Testing Company, Inc. is a SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) and was started in the south shore area of Massachusetts by a United States Marine Corps Veteran by the name of Martin Duross. After coming back from the war on terrorism in 2017 Martin started working as an apprentice for his uncle and fathers company “The Fire Pump Testing Company''. He grew a love for fire protection due to the great responsibility of life safety. A few years into his apprenticeship he was afforded the opportunity into local 550 where he was professionally trained with over 750 school hours and over 8000 on the job training hours. After becoming a licensed journeyman in the state of Massachusetts and graduating he wanted to keep going, more responsibility, more challenges. This was the start of becoming a fire sprinkler contractor and starting a company to make a difference in the fire protection industry. Martin swore an oath to defend and protect the people of this nation as a young man and will continue to do so everyday.
